Financial Aid Deadlines

Financial Aid deadlines are fast approaching!

The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is now available at This application must be filled out by all students who are seeking need based financial aid.

In addition, many private colleges and universities require the CSS Profile as well.  This is available at

Deadlines for these applications differ from school to school, so it is very important that you check each of your school's websites for their specific deadlines.  Keep in mind some can be as early as January or February.

Scholarship deadlines are also coming up.  Be sure to check the list of local scholarships, available on the "Scholarships" tab above, or in paper form in the Guidance Office.  These deadlines range from now through June, and new applications are added throughout the next few months.

Also, stay tuned for a Financial Aid Night that is in the works!

Attention Bourne High School Alumni!

We hope you are thriving, enjoying this chapter of your young lives.  Graduation is behind you, but it’s on the horizon for the students still on campus at BHS. In an effort to help current students get a REAL feel for life after high school, the Bourne PTA invites you to be part of a (very casual) panel during our first ever “Chance to Chat.”

We hope that in this laid back atmosphere, current students can hear the real details, hear about scenarios and get current information from you, their friends and former teammates, classmates, bandmates, chorus members, cast members, even older siblings or relatives. Our goal is to have a varied panel of about ten people consisting of students still enrolled in college, in the military, and some in the workforce, even if you work and take classes, we want to hear from you, and so do the students!

If you are available to participate on January 9, 2016, please contact Mrs. Baracchini, Mrs. Healy, Mrs. Rubinstein. Their contact information is below.

If you are not available to participate this time, but would like to be on a ‘short list’ for our next date(s), please also contact Mrs. Baracchini, Mrs. Healy, Mrs. Rubinstein.

Event: Chance to Chat
Place: Pocasset Golf Club
Date: Saturday, January 9, 2016
Time: 3pm-5pm
